Dana Center Role

Cassidy provides professional learning opportunities and resources for K–12 and higher education educators and administrators. Working with mathematics professionals at the state, system, and postsecondary levels, Cassidy works to promote and energize school improvements that increase student access and success in mathematics and advance college-and career-readiness goals and student aspirations.

Before Joining the Dana Center

Cassidy has more than 10 years of experience teaching and tutoring mathematics for students in middle and high school as well as postsecondary institutions. She has experience and insights from both private and public school mathematics programs. Cassidy’s previous research focused on equity in K–12 mathematics and school structures that lead to inequities, specifically how policies and implementation of those policies hold great power in producing equity or perpetuating inequity.
