Dana Center Role
Ismael serves as the administrative program coordinator for Literacy First, a program of the Center dedicated to ensuring that all students learn to read by the end of second grade, allowing them to realize their full potential. His duties include supporting the logistics, operations, and compliance of the AmeriCorps project. He also collaborates with the innovation team to support Literacy First’s tutoring program replication efforts.
Before Joining the Dana Center
As a research analyst at a Los Angeles-based nonprofit, Ismael managed several programs serving low-income households and the unhoused. He brings years of experience in program management and administration. Ismael is a dedicated professional with a passion for making a positive impact in the communities he serves.
